l am playing sims 2 and l am using the elevated foundation which l am not

at all familiar with.anyway l am trying to put walls in and put a

staircase in and in the matter of the walls its only in like 2 or two

walls on either side of it its just in the middle where l cant put one wall
panel.in the matter of the staircase l cant put the staircase ANYWHERE
because it says ''Cannot intersect stage''l have no idea what to do in
order to get my walls finished and the staircase put in.any help would be
great. thanks

Two things to check--first make sure the ''story'' or ''level''

button (located in the lower left part of the screen) is set to the right

location--I think it needs to be in the middle rather than ground level.

Second, try removing any roofing that you have. I've found that roofs get

in the way sometimes because the wall intersects the top of the roof. The
same thing might happen with the staircase depending on where you are
trying to put it as well. With the stair case, you will need to have at
least one extra square beyond the length on either end--that is for the
floor space or ''landing'' at the top & bottom of the stairs.
